SCORING

  • Animals have four Scoring Rings – 11- 10 – 8 – 5
  • 15 target stations per week (2 arrows per target) – 2 people per each station. This will run as a double line even if the room is not full.
  • No substitute shooters unless pre-approved by management.
  • After the ten week league, the following week will be the tie-break week, called “Week 11”. The format for the tie-breaker will be determined by management.
  • Week 11 is reserved for a shoot-off in the 3D and Couples league as well as for the shop shooters.
  • Failure to put your full name & CLASS  on the scorecard may result in a score of zero for the week.

WHO SCORES?

  • Everyone should try to shoot in collaboration with another person if at all possible. People should not to score for themselves. The scorer for each card needs to sign the bottom of the card at the end of each week.
  • If the arrow touches the line the arrow scores the higher value.
  • Wherever the arrow lands is where the arrow is scored.
  • PASS THROUGHS – bring this situation to an employee’s attention and we will deal with the issue. Pass throughs may be re-shot.
  • We will be dropping the lowest score in weeks 1 thru 4 and then set the flights after week 5. During the last 6 weeks, we will again drop the lowest score – after all the weeks have been shot. Final standings will be announced after Week 11.

MAKE-UPS

  • This is a ten week league. As noted above we will throw out two missed/lowest scoring weeks. You can make up a missed night within the same week only. If the week is not made up – it will score as a zero. Techno Hunt leagues can be made up at any time prior to March 24, 2018. After March 24th, any missed weeks in Techno-Hunt leagues will score as zero. No make-up shooting will be allowed after league completion.

NO HANDICAPPING

  • Targets must be kept in line as originally set up by staff

WOMEN’S 3D LEAGUE

All competitors will state a class designation as with the 3D league. This class will remain the same throughout the 10 week league. Scoring will remain the same as the standard 3D league (11-10-8-5).

MIXED COUPLES LEAGUE

  • All competitors will state a class designation as with the 3D league. This class will remain the same throughout the 10 week league. Scoring will remain the same as the standard 3D league (11-10-8-5).

YOUNG ADULT 3D LEAGUE

  • Ages 13 through 17 may participate in this league with an adult. This league will incorporate the same scoring structure as the standard 3D league. The young adults in this league will compete amongst themselves, and will not have to comply with the class requirement of the adult 3D league. The adults participating in this league will be required to select a class as they will have their scores entered into the standard 3D league.

TRADITIONAL ARCHERY 3D LEAGUE

  • This league will be shot exclusively with Recurve/Longbows!

All missed weeks must be completed prior to March 24, 2018, otherwise you will receive a zero for the missing weeks. No make-up shooting will be allowed after March 24, 2018.

YOUTH TECHNO-HUNT LEAGUE

  • There are two Youth Leagues this year – Youth League (ages 8 -12) and the Young Adult League (ages 13-17). This split will allow children of similar abilities to shoot with their peers. Both leagues are shot at 20 yards. There is a 30# weight minimum this year & Genesis bows will not be permitted as they do not register on the screen when shot from 20 yards. Equipment must be owned by the participant. There are no rentals available for leagues.
  • Each session lasts 30-40 minutes. The Youth Techno League is shot on Saturdays from 10 – 5. On the Saturday mornings that we are open for the La Crosse County 4H – the youth league can be shot as early as 8 am on those mornings. Up to six children per time slot can shoot league.
