Leagues

La Crosse Archery offers a wide variety of leagues for hunters and target archers alike to practice and compete against one another.  Below are scores for this year’s league as well as 2010 league details.

The League Banquet was held on Saturday, April 3rd. Awards for the winning individuals in each league were presented as well as the drawing for the Hunts. The winners for the hunts were: Mixed Couples – Lacey Leppert, Hunter’s League – Ryan Handke, Firemen’s League – Tom Morstatter, Techno-Hunt League – Kurt Krause.

Hunter/Mixed Couples League Rules: 

 

  • No Stabilizers over 12” in length
  • No Rangefinders – inside or outside the range
  • No magnifying scopes 

By adhering to these rules keeps the playing field even for all competing. Thank you for your cooperation and support. 

Techno-Hunt League Rules: 

We will not be requiring teams in 2010. This league will be an individual competition. Flighting will be the same as in the past. 

You must make an appointment to shoot your league each week. Please confirm your next week’s appointment at the end of each week’s shoot. A minimum of 2 people per slot can shoot league. With the new system, we can have as many as 6 people competing at the same time – so get your groups together today!

Leagues will be held at the following times:       

Mixed Couples League – Monday Evenings 4 – 9 pm 

Hunters League – Tuesday through Fridays 4 – 9 pm

Techno-Hunt Video League – Available 7 days per week – by appointment – minimum 2 people per slot must shoot. The Techno-Hunt Video League will not be a team league in 2010. Appointments not available during the Youth Techno-Hunt League hours noted below. 

Target League – Available 7 days per week (excluding special events) in the small range. In the case of special events, target shooters can shoot their league in the large range. The La Crosse 5 spot target will be used. 

Youth Techno-Hunt  League – Fridays 4 – 8 pm and Sundays 2 – 6 pm. This league will be shot at 20 yards in the Techno-Hunt range. You must schedule a slot each week for your league to be shot. A minimum of 2 and a maximum of 6 children will shoot during each time slot. Please sign up for the following week at the end of each session. 

WE WILL AGAIN BE OFFERING A HUNT FOR ONE PERSON FROM EACH ADULT LEAGUE – HUNTER, TECHNO-HUNT & TARGET!* 

The winners of the hunt will be selected at a drawing of those that complete the league season at the final league banquet (April 3, 2010). 

*Must be age 18 or over to win. There must be a minimum of 12 paid participants per league to be eligible for the hunt drawing.
